To improve your IELTS Reading and Listening . . .

We recommend you  listen to  and read  as many IELTS practice exercises as you can. 

Many libraries have IELTS books you can use or borrow - practice the listening and reading tests. If you would like a list of websites where you can listen to podcasts and IELTS listening tests, please contact us, we will send them to you - no questions asked!

Both IELTS Academic and IELTS General tests use the same listening exercises.

Reading for the IELTS Academic is more complex than reading for the IELTS General test. If you are studying for IELTS General, use IELTS General reading exercises. 

There are many websites which publish practice reading material. If you want a list of websites, please contact us and we will send them to you.


IELTS - The 250 word essay  (Part B Writing) -

  • We will show you how to write a 250 word essay: mind-maps, topic sentences, transitionals, key words, complex sentences, writing argumentatively, writing comparatively, putting together a great introduction and the conclusion - and using correct punctuation.

  • We do not handle IELTS reading and listening online -  but we can give you some strategies 
  • We do offer you guidance, tips, strategies and great weblinks to help you master IELTS reading and listening.
