IELTS SPEAKING
IELTS Speaking is one part of the four-part IELTS Test. The Speaking Test takes 11 to 14 minutes.
2 mins "warm up" / 1 minute preparation time then a 2-minute "solo performance" / 4-5 minutes discussing your solo performance topic with the examiner / 4 - 5 minutes having a two-way conversation about various everyday events.
Band 7 IELTS requires good spoken grammar, fluency (an easy flow of English), appropriate choice of words, and - staying on the topic. Band 7 vocabulary requires using words which may not be everyday simple language - and using them correctly. Pronunciation and correct stress syllables are also important.
