• Doctors, Nurses, Vets, Physios and Pharmacists can elect to sit IELTS Academic rather than the Occupational English Test for professional registration purposes.
  
• Dentists must sit the OET Test as part of their ADC registration process.
  
• Pharmacists can elect to complete IELTS but must achieve 7.5 in IELTS Writing, 7.5 in IELTS Speaking, 7.5 in IELTS Listening and 7.5 in IELTS Reading.
  
• The IELTS Test is the 'gold standard' for overseas students and other professionals wishing to satisfy permanent residency criteria.
